Providence is calling a full time, variable shift Supervisor of Pharmacy Transition and Ambulatory Care to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing clinical operations within the Department of Pharmacy
Be responsible for oversight and supervision of daily activities of centralized an decentralized clinical pharmacist programs to assure provision of high quality pharmacy services to in-patients and out-patients at the Medical Center and at the clinics throughout the Providence medical Group under the highest professional standards
Perform all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree
California pharmacy license or license eligible
Specialty fellowship or residence in Primary Care or equivalent training
Minimum of 5 years experience as a primary care or ambulatory care clinical pharmacist involving direct, collaborative patient care
Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement principles
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Demonstration of supervisory and administrative ability shown during that period
Writing experience including research protocols, medical papers for publication, and educational pieces for patients and healthcare providers
