JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, with an emphasis on patient care delivery, high quality customer service, patient satisfaction, staffing, payroll, budgeting and efficient allocation and use of available capital and human resources.
Implement and ensure compliance with established office policies and procedures
Train, monitor and evaluate clinic staff performance
Manage insurance contracts and ensure compliance with contracts
Responsible for oversight of lab and billing staff.
Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics
Keep track of equipment, devices and manage inventory
Liaise with vendors regarding equipment and supplies
Supervise registration and patient scheduling
Supervise medical coding, medical billing and banking
Marketing to potential referral sources
Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years of experience in medical practice management and supervisory positions with front and back office competence.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
Knowledge of medical terminology, billing and coding
Knowledge of state and federal regulations and laws (such as HIPAA and OSHA)
Computer skills (fluent in MS Word/Excel, EMR and billing software)
Experience in a human resources role, including hiring staff
Possesses comprehensive and advanced clinic practice management and leadership knowledge and skills, particularly mentoring, coaching, and conflict management and resolution, with effective facilitation of difficult conversations.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
