Coordinates Information Technology tasks of all team members. Analyzes and responds to user requested new development and system modifications. Designs technical solutions to information problems. Performs technical tasks related to project completion, including problem analysis, program development and testing, documentation, and implementation. Functions as the primary I.T. user contact for GHS departments or divisions. Performs project management and coordination functions.
Works under the supervision of the Director, Program Director or management designate.
SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES:
Lead Major System Projects for the UDA Data Management Team affecting a number of user groups and solutions. This position should be able to understand complex systems, inter-system data flows, and document technical requirements to ensure the best approach. The applicant needs to be strong technically with a background in server or application support. Experience in membership and claims processing preferred.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Project management, software acquisition, vendor management, disparate system interfaces, software upgrades, systems support, mentoring, and task organization.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; or technical diploma / technical certification in a field related to the position required. Minimum of nine years of full time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
In lieu of degree or certification, minimum of twelve years of full time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
