This Senior IT Consultant is responsible for development of action plans independently. The Sr IT Consultant conducts internal and external analysis. Translates information and identifies trends with actionable items. Provides information on IT issues to support planning of strategic, tactical and operational initiatives. Functions as lead on projects. May lead teams. Coaches development of other employees. Implements complex large/multiple projects.
Technically knowledgeable of print hardware and best practices allowing independent focus on continuous process improvement.
Understand printing processes to develop and publish new Knowledge to codify print hardware and configuration standards.
Manage vendor membership to VUMC technical resources, facilitating vendor access and vendor ability to meet support requirements.
Create reports that demonstrate improvement areas and then communicate with the managed print vendor.
Manage the unique Printer Naming tool for the enterprise.
Lead operational print management, which includes print performance troubleshooting; craft documentation, and publish within Pegasus, on the new process that solved the issue.
This position would be the first contact point of print incident and would be expected to work departmental vendor escalations to resolution.
