JOB SUMMARY: As a leader at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital, this position is instrumental in creating a great environment for patients to receive care, employees to work, and physicians to practice. The leader removes obstacles that hinder employees ability to excel at what they do. The leader manages the environment by hiring the best employees, evaluating and counseling to develop employees, and discharges employees who do not meet expectations. The leader is evaluated and rewarded based on the achievement of the goals
Educate the key stakeholders (including but not limited to: EMS, SNFs, LTACs, business community) within our community and region about VTHH as a local entity and a part of VUMC.
Coordinate communications within the region and our network of VTHH providers about VTHH-specific service lines, policies, processes to drive census growth at VTHH.
Represent VTHH on local boards and organizations (Rotary, Civitan) for grass-roots relationship building & civic engagement (community education) on behalf of VTHH.
Engage directly with VTHH service line leaders to share feedback from the community regarding scheduling, patient access, HCAHPS, patient experience to drive process improvements that will enhance census & volume at VTHH.
Assist with CHAN process with VUMC Main to coordinate local engagement & participation.
Other duties as assigned.
