St. Lukes Health System in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Child Life Specialist 1 to join our Child Life team.

Unit/Position Summary

Child life specialists daily to assist pediatric patients with coping during procedures such as port-a-cath accesses, peripheral lab draws, NG tube placements, radiation treatments, and dressing changes. The assistance of Child Life during procedures helps pediatric patients improve their ability to cope through guided instruction from child life specialists. Aside from teaching children to cope, child life specialists coordinate social engagement opportunities for families of children undergoing oncology and hemophilia treatment.
