Diagnostic Radiologic Technician (Mammography)
The incumbent operates independently and without direct supervision as the technologist responsible for the performance and coordination of all mammography procedures and performs routine and diagnostic mammography examinations (95%). Performs Bone Density (Dexascan) (5%). The purpose of these exams is to acquire diagnostic studies so that proper diagnosis and treatment may be achieved. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
