Accurately deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record; participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
Asses patient reactions to treatments providing education on the side effects of treatments.
Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
Accurately make custom molds and cut blocks.
Complete simple mu calculations.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed at all times.
Interpret a computerized treatment plan.
Monitor patient progress suggesting updates to treatment plans as needed.
Provide support to patients and their families.
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure machines are in proper working order.
Qualifications: This position allows all levels of experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
ARRT certification required.
Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
What You Bring to the Team:
Experience with VisionRT preferred.
Experience with SRS and/or SBRT preferred.
Experience with CT Sim preferred.
The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Masks are required in all Arizona Oncology facilities regardless of vaccination status. Candidates who accept employment including current employees who are applying for internal positions, are required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to their start date.
