Radiology Technologist Lead - Radiology - FT/Days

SUMMARY: Proficiently performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures with mastery; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve superior quality studies under a variety of conditions with no supervision. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Serves as a clinical resource for Radiology. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum three (3) years experience in Diagnostic Radiology
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Demonstrates experience or high level of competency in working with leadership to improve technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, maintain or develop exam protocols, mentoring or teaching in respective specialty, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department
• Demonstrates experience to lead a team, coordinate work schedules, improving technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, maintaining or developing scanning protocols, ACR application process, mentoring or teaching in respective specialty, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED AND a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology OR a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology
• College Degree - 4 year preferred
• BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License
• RT-R - ARRT Reg Tech Radiography preferred
• RHF - Rad Tech/Fluoroscopy License required within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS:

• Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Day shifts

PAY RANGE:

• $40.85 - $65.60
