Radiation Therapist- Smith Clinic
Job SummaryThe Radiation Therapist provides highly technical skills in administering high-dose ionizing radiation to cancer patients for localization and treatment of tumor volumes as prescribed by the physician. The Radiation Therapist evaluates equipment and machine operation for quality assurance and is responsible for providing total patient care by preparing patients for radiotherapy, observing clinical progress, and consulting with the physician concerning treatment. The Radiation Therapist maintains daily records and monitors treatment charts for adherence to regular port films within Mosaiq.
