Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - PRN
Overview This is a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position located at West Hospital. Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed. Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
